Phelan and Allison watch in horror as Mortal Foodfight! turns uglier than ever when Charlie Sheen, the Dog, gets raisin rabies and bites Hilary Duff, the cat.
crazy would be more like it. pure bat shit crazy. I guess they were either extremely drunk or extremely high when writing this script, probably both. Kasanoff is one cold farted itch.
I think if Brand X wasn’t so hell-bend on using inbred mutant nazis – the true übermenschen, as we all know – as their mascots, they might not need to pull of insane interdimensional (or whatever this is supposed to be) schemes.
P.S.: That M&M-shirt sums up the whole movie perfectly.
Completely fantastic review, never seen Lupa.. Or was it just Allsion? I don’t understand sometimes… But never seen her get tried so harshly before. o3o
But I would be in a shitty mood also if I had to review this sack of shiiitttttt
hmm, Exploda Cola & Dr Perfect. strange as it is, I can easily get behind Exploda Soda as a real product. the best “fake” soda brand I can come up with were Maximum Cola & Dr Hooper. a little nod to Maximum Carnage & Tobe Hooper since he loved Dr Pepper. in fact, he was given a beer hat by the cast & crew of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2 so he can drink Dr Pepper while filming. hell, TCM 2 is far better than Food Fight since that movie has a fry house and cannibalism. when I spoke to Caroline Williams on Twitter a few months back, I found out that she still loves the “I built you a little fry house” line from that movie. man, TCM & TCM 2 makes me hungry for Longhorn Steakhouse.
Imagine how this movie would be with a Diatron 5 style fandub.
Brad: “Wait…When did Freddy Kruger become a potato chip nazi?”
Internet Archive of a deleted page suggests the original stolen animation was taken by the first animation crew, who split after not getting paid. This would explain so much.
Ah, so Raisins Naruto was recalled & X Skank was the Prune lady all along. Don’t think JonTron or Doug bothered explaining that.
———————————————————————-
Allison: “It’s just creepy sexualization of corporate mascots. No one should have that fetish. NO ONE!”
Brad: “What about that green M&M?”
Phelan: “I prefer the orange one.”
Allison: “I like Smarties.”
Phelan: “GET OUT!”
Brad: “I thought that was a Goombah this entire time.”

This is why I love crossovers & cameos. There’s some jokes you just can’t make all by yourself.
I’m starting to think that they should’ve focused more on rewrites and paying people instead of losing themsels in delusions of grandeur.
Jon’s omission is easy to explain, as his review was a lot shorter. There’s only so much batshit you can explain. Dunno about Doug. Aren’t his recent reviews all 40+ minutes long?
Anyhow, this is another reason why reviewer dibs are bullshit. Every reviewer brings his own perspective, leading to a different focus on stuff (like the potato chip gag we get here).
It’s kinda like Duke Nukem Forever, when the developers scrapped what they’d worked on sofar to work on a less dated looking game engine. Then they’re starting over with dwindling patience & a significantly smaller budget.
Well, if you’ve abandoned TV for internet entertainment & like things at a similar length, Doug’s reviews seem like a good length to me, maybe even a little short. When a review breaks the 1 hour mark, that’s when it’s getting too long. Spoony used to go 1.5-3 hours & had to break his into multiple parts. If a review is less than 15 minutes & it has a skit, that’s just too short.
I love it when they take a stab at reviewer dibs by mocking audience trolls. Phelous is especially good at that, don’t you think?
Hmm, it does sound similar. I’d really like to know more about the initial production of this flick.
The sweet spot for me is at around 24ish minutes for videos with skits. Multi-parters are okay IMO, and Spoony does some quite entertaining ones.
(I’m also a bit paranoid about videos that are too long, espeically with Blip. I had around a handful of cases where the player suddenly decided it didn’t feel like pausing anymore o_O )
Phelous is generally so meta, he gets a Nostalgic Metaception.
Wait, no one compares Smarties and M&Ms unless they’re talking about the actual, proper, chocolate smarties as opposed to the weird American ones that are actually just Rockets. Phelous, does this mean you’ve been sharing our candy with an American? You two must be getting pretty serious if you’re willing to break one of our country’s greatest taboos so freely. I won’t inform the Mounties of your little indiscretion this time, but only because it was such a good video.
So is there a reason why all of your recent reviews have been two parters? Not really a big deal, just kinda curious. It does let you cover more of the movie, so there’s that.
Also, amazing review. The one downside about it is that now I’ve seen more of Foodfight then I ever wished to.
When they are extra long and have a lot of bits I prefer releasing them in 2 parts. Then people who don’t like watching something as long have it broken up and it gives me more time to work on it.
Well, at least my question from the first part was answered about the plushes, now how to get them for myself. I like to colect plush from animated films and movies that don’t show up much in plush and well, this is about as out of nowhere as it gets.
Recently I ran into the Foodfight plushies at a local Pathmark, which they had propped up in one of their claw machines. And the sad thing was, it wasn’t even buried or crammed in there like the others, it was laying on top kind of like a sacrificial offering.
Baywatch barbies, Radu action figures, she has all the cool toys. Just wanted to tell you guys how much I enjoy your reviews. Post the CA douchery I thought I would tune in to show you guys my support and you’ve quickly become one of my favorite sites to visit. I can always count on you guys to make me laugh if I’m having a bad day. =)
2:05– I feel sorry for Overacting Lupa for all these horrible jokes in this horrible movie. 2:27– GOD DAMN IT, MOVIE, WERE YOU MADE FOR KIDS OR NOT!!!??? 3:45– I’d like to imagine this is how the movie meetings went after everytime a product would drop from the movie faster than you can say “Scrumdiddlyumptious.” 5:23– Close. It’s actually The Daily Peanut. THE DAILY PEANUT!?!?!? 7:03– This is like having a crossover movie, but having the major movie characters make Stan Lee style cameos. 12:18– We all love it when you make fun of your own shows, Brad. =D 13:30– …You know you’re giving your target audience nightmares, right, movie? 17:41– This whole movie’s sense of humor is really, REALLY poor. 22:46– This movie would give ANYONE brain damage. 28:08– With all these reveals, it’s like the movie wants us to think it was directed by Christopher Nolan. 29:08– That line was totally ripped off from Whose Line Is It Anyway, one of my favorite shows of all time. This god damn Satan spawn of a movie is a Cold-Farted Itch.

The Epic Review Kontinues. ^-^
That was a hilarious review! Great job from all of you :3
I’m surprised you didn’t remark on the Casablanca scene homage at the club.
We did… :S
Cold farted itch…I just can’t. And Foodfight on ICE?! Someone was delusional. Or maybe they had just been driven mad by the production.

That’s not a Foodfight toy, that’s a taller Brian Griffin doing a Firefly cosplay + a hat.
Here’s an idea: never do a horror movie review again and make every video a crossover with Allison
And certainly do more BJ crossovers if given the opportunity, you are quite the dynamic duo.

Easily one of the best and funniest review in while! You guys as a trio work off each other really well.
So agree! I would personally love to see more reviews with the three of them!
The whole movie is just an assault on quality and decency. Glad you guys did a review of it.
The three of you will always be my favorite cold farted itches. <3

Blah blah legal reasons, blah blah Smarties: The greatest Mortal Chocolate character.
No, the best Mortal Chocolate character is Kit-Kat.
You know what I’d love to see you endure, Phelous?
Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm.
KOMBAT TIME!

I feel like Phelous needs to review them for MMZ.
I never get tired of rewatching these video.
Needed more singing cat.
Lol, that wasn’t Peanut Hollywood. That was the “Daily Peanut.”
Did you guys already have the Little Debbie or was that just for the review?
It was something Allison had.

Thanks! Glad you’re enjoying the vids! 🙂
& hopefully the 3 of them wil lcome together again & review Foodfight 2: Sausage Party.
I love the Exploda Soda joke.
CD player? Looks more like a grill.
Napolean Chips? I thought he was a snooty French wine cork.

Isn’t it just me or does the animation of this video remind you of Foodfight?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffYRcQh68M8
