I agree.. They go over more of the over the top crap in the movie; and when NC reviewed he kept on using the same joke over and over again..

        And I never liked Jontron.

I have nothing against NC, I have nothing against JonTron, I have nothing against Brad, Phelous, or Lupa. everyone has different tastes in entertainment, and comedian critics are no exception. people love them, people hate them, and that’s perfectly alright. if people like NC for being over the top, then that’s what they like. I tend not to like Linkara’s videos all that much, but it’s nothing against him. I just have different taste in comedian critics than some people do. hell, even most people wont admit that they can see a movie over and over again and still like it. so, if you don’t like NC and/or JonTron, that’s fine by me. as for me, I like watching all 5 of these critics videos. they all offer something different in how they review things and they each have their own styles. love them or hate them, they’re here to stay. and they will always have their audiences regardless if we agree with their opinions or not.

and that’s why they’re great. I have nothing against NC or JonTron, but I do admit that sometimes Doug can overact his reviews a little too much. as with JonTron, I think his reviews are funny depending on what you’re watching. but then again, every critic on any website can have their pros and cons. it’s all 100% objective opinions and personal preferences either way, plus they can’t please everyone. so, if you hate NC & JonTron or at the very least don’t like his videos, that’s fine with me. as they always say, to each his own.

Don’t forget that NC is a scripted character based heavily on Daffy Duck.

I loves me some JonTron & PBG. JonTron & Lupa now have Food Fight & Goosebumps in common. I wonder if they’ll ever do a crossover. I guess they’d have to meet first.

maybe. I know that JonTron did a cameo appearance on Continue. PBG I like as well and I think if I’m not mistaken that PBG’s reviews are also under NormalBoots. there are many critics and reviewers on youtube that I tend to find entertaining, funny, and/or interesting. Dr Wolfula, Oliver Harper, Maximillion Dood, The Happy Video Game Nerd, Captain Logan & Vince from Geekvolution, General Lotz, Hal & friends at Screen Junkies, LittleJimmy835, Mike Grayson, and many more.

I have no problems with Brad being short. my question is what happened to his hair? seriously, has anyone noticed that Brad went from having hair to almost being completely bald? I must of missed something because it wasn’t that long ago when Brad had a lot of hair on his head which now because he’s almost bald I get the feeling that he has lost tremendous amount of weight and at times in some of his videos he tends to look like a cancer patient. again, I have no problems with how he looks and I’m not trying to be mean, but maybe somebody can fill me in on why Brad looks differently.

It’s the McRibMac diet. Helps you lose weight (and hair). No, but really, I’m not sure if BJ has actually lost any hair, I think he just prefers to shave his head. As for how he lost that weight – that’s anyone’s guess. Surely it must be some form of sheer willpower because I don’t get the impression he’s the guy that’d count his calories lol

Still, I can’t get over how big Phelous is compared to BJ (not talking about weight lol)

My god this movie is pathetic, and I haven’t even seen the rest of it yet! It’s like Uwe Boll attempting to make an animated movie, with his schtick for big name actors and such. Aladdin and the Adventure of All Time, Lion and the King, they’ve got some serious competition here.

Hey, Lupa’s reviewing something animated since Pony Promenade. Welp, that’s one off the wish checklist.

I love a good train wreck, & this is the Duke Nukem Forever of cartoons. Glad you didn’t bow to the Reviewer First Dibs Rule.
::JonTron & NC peer through the windows::

Lol, that house is whiter than a KKK hospital.

The “before” animation might have been more dated, but it looked a lot better, somehow.

Lupa: “French Bread Blimp?! Ooooh! It doesn’t work that way!”
    ::Somewhere, ChaosD1 sneezes::

Yup….This still makes ReBoot’s visuals look good. Probably on Par with Serious Sam 2 though. Significantly heavier shading & highlighting would have made things look less….floaty.

::Puppets appear around the man as he mourns over a bag of potato ships. & they sing…sing…sing::

Screw reviewer dibs. Everyone and their mother needs to review this travesty.

The original animation looks like a very good PS1 FMV where everyone looks like a very smooth clay figure. Certainly way more interesting than the new style where this weasel has more texture than the main cast combined (while still managing to look like crap).

It haunts us every time we have to restock our groceries…

well, look at it this way. at least it’s not like having a little girl asking her parents for a Barbie doll but instead if being given a stick and the parents saying to her “give it a name”. just the idea of having toys based on this steaming piss pile of animation is rather questionable, and it forces to ask yourself over and over again just what they hell were they thinking when they thought that making toys based on this was a good idea. I mean, you don’t see any toy company making The Room dolls with an electronic Tommy Wiseau saying “You’re Tearing Me Apart Lisa!” ever time you pull the string or toys based on Birdemic that has super exploding action. the film is bad enough, but making toys based on bad movies is really pushing it.

…….but then again, maybe there are some people who think having toys based on bad films is a good idea. and if even Phelous, Brad, Lupa, or anyone else is ok with idea, then sure. why not? if our entertainment & merchandises are going to be senseless, then let’s take it to the max.

The Room Tommy Wiseau Dolls – you’re tearing him apart customers!

Birdemic Action Figures – now with super exploding action (warning: may cause global warming)

It Pennyworth The Clown Toy Boats – yes kids….it floats

try some out folks and see what you can come up with.

            You make a good point.

Trust me, as much as I quiver in disgust at that Daredevil Dan stuffed animal at our local Bi-lo I’m still here talking about it. I’m not going to sit here and lie and say that there isn’t a sick part of my subconscious that wants to own that doll as well. But it’s for the very same reason we love to see Phelous and others make fun of these kind of movies that we already know are horrible: We secretly love them. They’re terrible and anything attached to them are terrible, but it’s the kind of terrible that’s enjoyable and keeps bringing us back.

For me that all first manifested when I started watching Mystery Science Theater 3000. We all sit there and know these movies are terrible, but some are so terrible in a special way that we end up actually liking them. There are now plenty of episodes of MST3K that I can now watch even without the riffs and completely enjoy.

… except for ones like The Castle of Fu-Manchu. It’s like Phelous said himself, movies like those are not the entertainingly awful kind, they’re the just flat out BORING awful kind. And that is the worst movie sin a movie can commit…

yes, they are. I think Brad & Phelous should settle it by competing in Mortal Kombat. I think that would be cool to finally see these guys and gals compete against each other in video games (which I hope to do when I see Phelous at Magfest for both MK & KI). I’m not sure if Brad hates Mortal Kombat or if he just doesn’t like it as much as everyone does, which is more reasonable and acceptable. different strokes for different folks and so forth. plus, it would just be cool to have Brad & Phelous fight each other. they could even have their fans place their bets online like a Pay Per View event. even if Brad was dressed as Kung Tai Ted and Phelous dressed as Sub-Zero, I’d still watch it. that would be epic as hell. put in Ryu & Fulgore as the judges and I would watch it in a heart beat. or just bring back Kung Tai Ted now as a fighting game reviewer or a replacement character and I think it would be cool too. but it I guess none of that will ever happen, so it’s all just wishful thinking.

I think that zombie guy was supposed to be a robot/android/puppet, suggesting that Brand X is actually run by the eeeevil macots themselves. Or something like that. Wouldn’t surprise me if this is never brought up again, either because they ditched that subplot or the motion capture just went apeshit.

here’s the most shocking revelation I’ve had in recent years. MK Annihilation, MK The Journey Begins, & MK Defenders Of The Realm, none of these are as bad as MK Federation Of Martial Arts. I sat down and watched it on youtube, and my god it’s horrendous. at least with MK Annihilation/TJB/& DOTR, they are still entertaining , they at least tried to be as close to the game while also doing something new, there was some level of effort involved in each of the 3 titles, and at least they each have some redeemable qualities that keeps it from being total garbage. in MK FOMA, there is nothing redeemable about it whatsoever. the plot is nonexistent, the effects look fake even by high school production standards, the acting is god awful, and some scenes are so lazy and half-assed that it’s if they shot it in someone’s basement with a blue/green screen background and even in someone’s backyard in a suburban neighborhood. if there’s anything that can make MK Defenders Of The Realm, MK The Journey Begins, & MK Annihilation look like masterpieces by comparison, it’s MK Federation Of Martial Arts. which to me is the absolute worst Mortal Kombat adaptation I have ever seen.

Foodfight!, a movie so bad, it needs more internet reviews to show how bad it really is. I love it when you guys make fun of The Irate Gamer, aka the Uwe Boll of internet reviewers. 8:09– Yeah, we have 2 video to make about a movie that will give the average film buff a super headache. =P 10:58– Foodfight was ruined to begin with. 11:38– Don’t you mean FOUR instead of three? You forgot Mrs. Butterworth. 12:10– How embarrassing can it get from being the band leader at Jabba’s Palace to co-staring in the worst animated movie of all time? “Shut up, you cold-hearted, vacuum bitch.” That line is so damn funny. I feel sad for Wayne Brady, Hillary Duff, and Christopher Lloyd for having to play voices for this box of processed shit. 19:53– Toy Story and Wreck-It Ralph makes more sense than this crap. 21:17– Uh, yeah, you’re gonna have to pay for that, Twitchy McHellspawn. 24:05– “12 Hungry Men”? …Really!? If this movie was released to theaters in 3-D, the audience would run right out the door when Shit Weasel appears on screen. 26:34– Y’KNOW, FOR KIDS! 28:48– I recognize that sound clip. That’s Leslie Nielsen from Wrongfully Accused.
