This was new level of WTF, even by Dingo standards. Apart from the piss-poor art, animation and constant re-using of character models and sheets, the nonsensical, practically nonexistent “stories” (these pictures are the video equivalent of a 5-year-old telling you a joke that he/she made up and they keep changing and adding on stuff as they go along), their employing of only the same 3 voice actors for every dang project and their cheap desire to cash in whatever’s hot this week by tracing, copying and/or flat-out lying on their covers, I really wonder what Dingo Pictures were thinking, and who in the Nine Realms kept giving them money to allow them to keep doing it.
I love how Dingo productions are billed as kids films but the words “damn” and “My God!” are spoken at least once in all of them. Yeah, I know that kids hear worse language when they watch PG rated movies, but still, it seems a tad irresponsible.
Imagine being a nice, normal family and for a holiday or birthday someone buys the child a Dingo fake Disney movie or game…then the little unsuspecting child puts in the game as the family gather around and they are treated to a Dingo Qyuality experience.
It reminds me of the speech Dr. Forrester gives before inflicting “Manos the Hands of Fate” on Joel and the Bots on Mystery Science Theater 3000. Something like “The average person on the street has not even begun to conceptualize the horror that is your experiment. Mr Joel Average. I give to you [Dingo]”
Weirdly, this seems to be the same movie as Dalmatians 3, based on the Caddicarus review, yet it has a different dub track. I have a hard time believing Dingo did two separate dubs for this thing.
It’s not the same movie but there is a long flashback in Dalmatians 3 and it was indeed redubbed for some reason.
Oh, so Dalmatians 3 is the Silent Night, Deadly Night 2 of Dingo Pictures, kind of, sort of.
Then again, so was Countryside Bears.
