I assume you two left out the final scene, where albino John Saxon and the puma team up (in front of a banner declaring their mutual immortality) as they swear to take their revenge on Hasselhoff and Bo Hopkins, who have now become unlikely allies in an attempt to stop them. The movie ends on a freeze-frame of the four characters squaring off, under the text: “They’ll be back next year in The FINAL Final Alliance!” Which was sadly never made thanks to the Hoff’s uncancelled Baywatch show.
I love the shot at 3:45 with Saxon and Hasselhoff pointing guns at each other with the barrels about two feet apart. It’s almost Police Squad-level hilarious. ย Every time I see a stand-off like that in a movie it drives me nuts, because NOBODY WOULD EVER FUCKING DO THAT! If you’re holding a gun on someone and they try to draw on you, there is only one thing anyone with a brain in their head would do, and that is shoot. In the event two people draw on each other more-or-less simultaneously, neither one is going to stop and wait to see if the other one shoots, because if you do, you’re dead. They’re both going to assume the other one is going to shoot and try to be the one who shoots first, i.e., the one who lives. You can’t dodge bullets, and you can’t wait and see if the other guys pulls the trigger and then pull yours, because if you do that, you’re dead. You can’t pull your trigger faster than someone who has ALREADY STARTED TO PULL THEIRS.

0/10 No mention of the titular final alliance.

We did mention the final alliance, it was Hasselhoff, old girlfriend, priest, and random guy. ๐

I love that you’re doing more Hasselhoff movies. It’s like a match made in heaven for Movie Nights.
Or perhaps a…Mitch…made in heaven?

I’m not going to turn into one of those Bot Repliers on Videos like this, but I did find this one available online.
While I’d love to have the VHS like them, it just seems like an easier substitute for the time being.
