I’ve never seen this special, but to answer your question Phelous & Lupa who the father is, it’s Richard Masur. I actually recognize him more as Clark from John Carpenter’s The Thing. also, I find it kind of a funny coincidence that for the 2nd time this week, a review came online immediately after I finished watching a movie. first it was Brad releasing his Halloween 5 review after I got done watching Halloween 6 Producer’s Cut, and now this evening watching this funny review after watching Alien 3. on a side note, during the intro to the Disney Saturday Night Movie, they showed a brief clip from the extremely under-rated 1985 Disney animated film: The Black Cauldron. talk about a Disney film with an intimidating villain with a creepy voice (thank you once again John Hurt). actually, how did we go from The Horned King to Mr Boogedy in less than a year?
anyway, great episode as always Lupa. oh, and Happy Halloween to the both of you. ^-^
very true. originally, he auditioned for the role of Macready, but he gravitated more with the dog character since he thought that Clarke had more connections with the dogs than the rest of the group. if I recall, I think he was the first character everyone started pointed fingers at since he was originally close to the dog that was infected, even though he was never infected himself. just one more reason why The Thing is still one of the best horror / sci-fi films ever made.
I still remember this when it was on TV. Good Lord what a mess! It appealed to no one. It wasn’t a comedy, it wasn’t scary, it didn’t have enough action to appeal to kids, and many families with young kids will shy away from anything even remotely horror related so it couldn’t even pass for a family film.
I did come to appreciate it later as is features 16 year old Kristy Swanson! Keep in mind she was sleeping this Alan Thicke during the making of this movie. NOT KIDDING!

If this was made in the early 90s, the dad would’ve been played by Dave Coulier. Lupa’s kid voice sounds like Adam Sandler.
i use to watch this when i was a kid, Use to love watching this move than you for reviewing it.
Wow…this looks incredibly boring.

I want to see a movie where Mr. Boogedy fights Jigsaw.
“Hello, would you like to play a game?”
“YES!”
“Whaaa?” X_x
lol i thought bud bundy was in this
What’s Allison dressed as? Looks like rogue armor crafted from the bark of a granitewood tree. Just needs a bow & quiver.
You sure this movie wasn’t meant to be shown on the 1st of April? 😛
Took me awhile to figure out Caveman Face there was Gomez Addams. & holy shit…..The older boy is Bud Bundy from Married with Children!
