haha i can’t believe you actually did the “old man reads crepypasta” thing you were discussing with lupa.
this is the start of the best series EVER
I agree. in the words of Shang Tsung: it has begun!
Welp, I know what me and the boyfriend are going to watch tonight!
now you have to do Suicidemouse.avi
This is the best thing since “Half-Life: Full Life Consequences”. Bravo, sir, bravo. You do realize you’ve made that old fart far more enjoyed now than anyone ever anticipated a cheap throwaway character from a crappy knock off cartoon would ever be, right? Well done.
Eh, the continuous rambling on got tiresome quickly. Maybe if I read the creepypasta first I’d enjoy it more.
So, I read about half of it before my patience ran out. I wasn’t expecting something that terrible. Don’t know if I can stand to listen to it being read, but I’ll give the video another go.
Never mind, this is awesome, please continue.
Your character arc in these 3 comments is better developed than the entire 44 minutes of Sonic.EXE
I’m already in talks with producers to make a movie based off of Knightroglycerin’s epic story. It’s a classic tale of folly and redemption. We’re thinking Uwe Boll to direct and Steve Buscemi to play as Phelous.
Albert Wesker on a cat?
say Old Man, you think Sonic.exe has demonic words spoken backwards, wait until you get to The Icon Of Sin from Doom II. I’m impressed that you were able to make an interesting creepy pasta video featuring The Old Man. however, it did felt like it dragged on a bit too long at times, maybe it’s just me since I’m extremely tired. all in all, I think it was entertaining and I hope you make more. I would love to see The Old Man’s expression if he got to play something as random & over the top like Splatterhouse, Brutal Doom, or Bio Freaks.
say Old Man, you think Sonic.exe is the only game with demonic reverse English, wait until you get to The Icon Of Sin in Doom II. joking aside, I have to say you did a fantastic job on this Phelous. although, I do think it kind of drags on after while. but to be fair, that’s probably because it’s after 1:00 AM eastern time and I’m extremely tired. overall, I have to say it’s extremely entertaining and I hope you make more videos with The Old Man in it. maybe he can get around to playing random over-the-top videos game like Splatterhouse, Brutal Doom, and Bio Freaks.
video games not videos game………me. (sigh) you can tell when you’re getting tired when you make obvious typos of standard normal words.
If you play the game, you’ll die in 7 days.
It’s a creepypasta…I think we all know that red water was marinara sauce.
I mentioned Sonic Dreams to you on Twitter awhile back. Not exactly a creepypasta, but if you ever wanted to see a parody of the Sonic community that made you feel uncomfortable & dirty, that one definitely does its job.
Two pupils & one eyelid…. Cyclops the Hedgehog.
“I often try to TELL my game what to do…instead of using the controller, &….it often goes poorly.” ::Hands him a copy of Gnilly::
Nice spoof on creepypastas, mocking the overused cliches, poor spelling, & common storytelling errors you’ll find in 9 out of every 10 creepypastas. The first 5 minutes were a little weak….which makes sense, because the backstory part of creepypasts where they tell about how they got the game is always the dullest part of the story. As soon as he started narrating while actual game footage played out, it became interesting & funny.
Join us next time, when Old Man screams his way through a Let’s Play of a homebrew STEAM game made entirely of premade assets on Unreal Engine.
And Sonicdotexe.exe claims another victim… who lives to tell us about it.
You are da’ best!
I was just commenting on the awesomeness of shitty Beauty and the Beast in your last vid…and you go ahead and spoil us with a masterpiece like this, and more Old Man then we can handle…
Happy Smelloween…er Halloween!
I do enjoy Creepypastas, but I’ll be honest: I came for the “EEEEEEEEEE!”
“HIYEEEEEEEEEEEEE” I laughed ever damn time XDD
This is immediately my new favourite show. I hope you intend to make this a series, Phelous. You gotta. It’s way too good XD I know every-one and their dog is gonna suggest “which Creepypasta to do next”, but if I may, Sally.EXE is pretty friggen awful too XD But really, there’s a loooooot of fruit ripe for the picking. So anything would be good.
We don’t do Halloween in my country… so rewatchning this is what I’m doing for Halloween this year ;D
::Reads the comments about the video on Twitter, here, & Youtube:: People like it. People REALLY like it. They’re screaming for more.
Thank you THE Old Man for pointing out just how poorly thought out and terrible a Creepy-Pasta Sonic.exe is, this was almost as good as that review of a ‘lost’ Pokemon game that Phelous played 😀
Where can I find the game so I can get a free plushy?
Phelous, did you do all the graphics here, or did you find them? I’m really curious.
Anyway, I’ve been a huge fan of your Old Man impression for exactly 15 seconds now, and was happy to see him get his own series. I’d also like to see an Old Man: Let’s Play series, an Old Man Unboxing series, and a Real Lives of Old Man series. Also, if you make an Oldman T-shirt I would buy one (that one’s not a joke. DO IT)
Old Man Plays Sonic DrEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEams!
There is a fan game for some strange reason of Sonic.exe and that’s what I showed for gameplay.
Cool. I was gonna say that if you made those graphics you put more effort into the video than whoever wrote the story, but that’s probably still true.
It still was A LOT of editing, that’s for sure.
There’s also some Sonic.exe spoofs, like Sunky & Sanic.exe.
It’s a shame the fangame isn’t more accurate to the story, though still must have taken a disproportionately high amount of effort for such a bad story.
Took me four sessions but I finally got through it! It was a great video, but damn did the original author ramble on. I guess that’s why I never got very far into this creepy pasta. The worst part is everything in that hacked game could actually exist in a programmed game. Meaning there isn’t anything about it that could have been considered creepy. Heck, even the plushy at the end could have been a friend playing a prank. How about the person literally being pulled into the game world trapped forever or evil Sonic appearing in real life? At least it would have given us something for the ending.
This was fantastic! The world needs more Old Man reading creepy pastas!
This is a beautiful concept. I’m kind of impressed by how you kept that voice up, lol
Sounds legitimate to me. v.v
I love everything about this! Old Man not knowing about modern trends and his bumbling narrative makes this creepypasta hilarious! Thank you for giving the world Old Man 😀
Well, technically Goodtimes gave us Old Man. He just improved and expanded on it.
Oh jeezum crowe man! Thank was one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time. The old man is an awesome character for this. Keep it up please.
Thanks Phelous, I nearly choked on my soda when the Old Man snickered at the “smart gamer” comment of the soda! xD
Would you consider re-editing this one to include the book please?
It’s hard to tell what’s part of the story and what isn’t.
Bad news. This story has an OFFICIAL sequel! Of course, I want Old Man to Read it. 😛
