That’s how you use Siro’s Deadly Toejam Attack. Siro used it to win Mortal Kombat and save Earth. Liu Kang won? That’s just a lie made up by Raiden because Siro was too embarrassing.

Renton isn’t any worse an actress than, say, Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Wouldn’t this show have been better if they’d introduced a group, secretly working for Shang Tsung, to oppose Kung Lao each week? That way they could have still had one-off episodes that wouldn’t require rigorous continuity, for casual viewers, and gradually raise the stakes as Tsung becomes more involved. But no, instead our villain has a plan-of-the-week that fails. Every. Single. Time.
Quan Chi really looked familiar to me, and then I got it: he was the
super-duper vampire thing from Blade II. Then I looked it up and imdb
says I’m wrong. /shrug.

For what it’s worth, I love this series of videos because I LOVED Mortal Kombat Conquest when it originally aired. I have every episode on old VHS tapes that I made back then. I was so into Kristanna Loken that I actually had a fan site dedicated to her at the time. Her father contacted me once around 1999-2000 to give me more acurate biography details. Good times, good times. It’s awesome to revisit the show so many years later. I hope you finish the series!
