So, the ultimate object that destroys Phelous (at least in Jennie’s opinion) is Dingo’s Alladin?
Yeah right, guess that magic is completely useless then. At this point Phelous is bulletproof to their stupidity and bad animation/acting/everything. It’s not like the film was distributed by…(notice the EastWest on the bottom of the DVD)
You just have to find a street kid named Aladdin in a great big city in ancient Arabia…no sweat. Probably just a few hundred – maybe a thousand tops. Of course there’s no such thing as a directory, phone book, or post office invented yet…so good luck.
Is it me, or is this the closest thing to an actual good movie from goodtimes? The self-awareness of some of this dialogue and plotting seems like they really knew how to make this fun, rather than a boring or more confusing mess like most of the rest of their films are. If nothing else, the Genie going “Oh…kaaaaay…?” was hilarious, along with Aladdin himself wondering who comes up with this crap. Just seemed this time like they genuinely cared about the audience to enjoying this one and at least having something entertaining. Either that or the actors ad-libbed a bunch of their lines, which I wouldn’t be slightly surprised by.

He does have some poorly defined magical abilities. Maybe locating someone based on their name is one of them.
hey, Jon Protagonist, this has nothing to do with the Aladdin vid but… you’re a fan of Mighty Orbots, right?

Be happy.
For my part I’m happy to see that The Mask animated series is happening on DVD too.
Whoa thanks so much!
I was hoping they would eventually release this!
Mighty Orbots is my all time favorite, but M.A.S.K. is also a childhood favorite.
Honestly the best animated Aladdin is probably Toei’s anime one. Here’s an English dub of it:

(There’s actually two dubs but I consider that one the superior. I still need to get a better tape of it tho)
Is it bad that Phelous has me hyped for a Dingo movie?

Why does the Genie in the Lamp in this look like what if Mario (the Italian plumber, not the singer) was a JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure stand?
Wait, so you didn’t put in that music at 9:28? Because I’m pretty sure that’s from the Disney Beauty & the Beast.
This movie’s Aladdin looks like Jackie Chan from Jackie Chan Adventures.
