The Mr. Monk book series worked on the same premise. Some of them happen in-between episodes, some of them inspired episodes, & the rest of them take place after the series ends.
Fanfic authors? That gives a certain level of cringe alert, since 99% of fanfics are shipping, porn, or shipping porn. But what else could be expeced from a series where every episode potentially has a one-shot Relationship Sue?
Sometimes I watch NCIS & it still blows my mind that it’s the same Count Dukula from Quantum Leap.
Well, I’ve never really been into this show, saw some episodes but didn’t ‘feel’ it (well, granted I was extremely young when I saw the tail end of the series, and I saw it after I saw Bakula in Enterprise). But you do make a good case for it, your mentions of it and the extended universe does make it sound kinda appealing.
You did a really nice video on these novels here ^^
My eyes widened when you mentioned the dual Sam’s being evil and good (haha, seriously, watch Star Trek TOS much, writers??) and my jaw dropped at the “almost caused a nuclear apocalypse” thing, which is just over-the-top enough to be hilarious. It’s a shame I can’t make my way through a novel due to memory and reading difficulties related to written words, I’d have liked to experience these stories myself :C
I’ve done audiobooks for things like Terry Pratchett, and that tends to be fine.
But I don’t think any of the Quantum Leap novels are done in audio books.
Too bad my streaming service doesn’t have this series in the catalogue, I think I watched a few episodes at some point in the 90s but can’t quite remember anything in particular.

Kinda want to know what went on Behind-the-Scenes for that really OOC one.
I’ve seen a couple of episodes of this show and it’s pretty cool…these books sound wierd…which would you recommend?
For someone who’s never read one and seen only a few episodes but wants to get into both
Out of the books, Pulitzer is really great. Obsessions is also fantastic with characterization, and a bit more humorous than Pulitzer.
Thanks 🙂
These look great!!

Try audiobooks.

Jump- sorry, leap to 2:24 for incest. 😛

LOL. This countdown was hilarious.
