The 70’s were an odd time. Also, that British guy and the cricket sounds were cracking me up.
You know, when Family Guy did the KISS Saves Santa joke in the first Christmas special, I thought it was just a joke about ‘imagine such a ludicrous concept’ and maybe the fact that Gene Simmons will slap the KISS name on anything. Maybe they were actually referencing this.
It does look like one of those musical vanity projects. Might be fun to watch and riff if you have some friends who are into rock music.
And, oh god, that scene from Robot. Definitely not one of Tom Baker’s better stories. Yeah, the effects in Classic Who could get pretty bizarre, especially when the BBC would slash their budget.
