I used the Kenner Toys proton pack in a Halloween parade one year. After replacing the straps and the cord. That one uses a hook to store the neutrino wand. Trying to holster it over your shoulder is an awkward motion any way you do it.
Oh yeah, it definitely is. The peg connection just makes it that much more unlikely you’re gonna it back on, especially coupled with the cord giving it too much tension.
Not related to the video, just something I ran across. I was reading the Super Sentai wiki and checked out their description of Power Rangers Ninja Steel and this is that show’s opening narration:
“When Galvanax, cruel champion of Galaxy Warriors, claimed the mighty Power Stars, Earth’s greatest ninja sacrificed himself to keep the universe safe. 10 years later, a new generation of warriors rises up, to protect the ninja Power Stars. They are Power Rangers Ninja Steel!”
“Cruel champion of the GALAXY WARRIORS”? So, like, Baltard’s not the main character anymore?
I can see why people would want to repaint it. It was colored in with pencil lead.
The tinny toilet flushing sound it makes is kind of hilarious.
