Oh god, this movie hurts me. More than the first one.
Nice review! I remember seeing this movie play on TV a few years ago. I’ve actually been thinking that this would be a good movie for you to review for a while now.

Oh my God, they seriously made a Boogeyman 3? Honestly, the 2nd one wasn’t even that scary. I saw it on TV a long time ago and thought it was just some kind of watered down Saw rip-off.
When I was watching this, I thought “How did he get a job interview coming straight out of a mental hospital?” but I guess it makes more sense because he was lying…..because he was the killer…..but it still doesn’t because it doesn’t make sense that he’s the killer…….this movie sucked. >.>
Also, I want that Fat Machine for almost every snobby, pretentious cheerleader I went to high school with 8D

Actually Phelous maggots are used by doctors in ulcer treatments because maggots eat dead tissue, allowing new tissue to grow… so technicly the wounds will heal.
Also did you know that the actor who plays Jigsaw coaches a little league team.
I’ll bet the parents keep their mouths shut during those games, lol.

I guess Boogeyman 3 won’t have Ted Raimi it to continue with the Xena series injoke the franchise has had which seems to be the only enjoyable joke the movies have actually produced. Sucks that they decided just to go the stupid slasher route with this since yeah Boogeyman 1 may of not been good but it seemed a lot less cliche then this crap.

Why was the girl with cutting issues allowed to have sharp objects? Why was
the bulimic allowed to have a bucket to hide her puke? Why was the germaphope
allowed to… have cleaning products in his room(?). I don’t know, maybe the
terrible job the doctors seem to be doing will make more sense if I watch the
movie.
Unnecessary flashbacks are a gimmick of the Saw franchise and other movies
from the “creators” of Saw. (Though the unnecessary flashback is used
a lot, it seems to be more noticeable and elaborate in Saw-type films.) The
creators of this film seem to have had no involvement in the Saw movies, so it
looks like they just love Saw so much that they ripped it off completely,
including the unnecessary flashback.
This may sound odd, but the Boggy Phelous without his mask reminds me of one of the dead Artic explorers from John Carpenter’s The Thing for some reason.

The way you described what you wished the movies had been is one of my favorite kinds of story telling. Where you leave the table wondering if there really was something, or if it was just in the person’s head. Now, if you want to see it done right, you should check out the anime Paranoia Agent. It’s only 13 episodes long, and I swear, is a psychology major’s wet dream.
