That ending sketch is very appropriate considering Dan Castellaneta, Homer’s voice actor, was also called on to voice the Genie in a number of Disney works like the TV series, the first DTV Aladdin sequel, the Kingdom Hearts games and so on. Unsurprisingly, his Genie often sounds more like Homer then Robin Williams.

And, wow, that Homer figure is so hollowed out you’d think Han Solo needed him as an emergency snow shelter.

Mr. Burnsns: “Smithersrs, who is that man?”

Smithersrs: “That would be a…Homer Simpsonsns, sir?”

    Mr. Burnsns: “Simpsonsns, eh?”

Looks like the toy company was trying to recapture those Tracy Ulman Show years.

Ah, this is the first time I get to see the  Peter Venkman action figure. They did a great job on his face.

Homer is literally brainless & a boobhead.

The back of their heads looks like the ravioli I ate last night. & I agree that Bart’s looks like a peanutbutter cup.

I like how Homer kinda turned into Cookie Monster in that end skit.

Aiya… They fit in with Pentagram Turtles.

So Andrew Dickman gave you these as a gift? Uhh, yay?

On the one hand, that news makes me happy because I enjoyed Andrew’s videos and while I miss his work, I’m glad to know he’s still out there, but on the other hand, these abominations. These things are craptacular even by knockoff standards. I wouldn’t use these as pet chew toys, and I’m not even a Simpsons fan.

That bootleg Bart has no neck, and looks like he wants to eat me!

Also, that Bart figure’s shirt was painted red, not orange or blue, but I guess that the short color doesn’t matter since he looks like the walking un-dead. I read somewhere that the makers of the Simpsons merchandise deliberately colored Bart’s shirt blue initially as a way of distinguishing the official merchandise from the bootlegs, even though Bart never wore a blue shirt on the show. Personally, I’ve always thought that the blue shirt looked better on Bart than the orange one, but since Bart’s been wearing the orange shirt for about a century, why change it now?

I also noticed that Lisa and Maggie are both the same height. That, coupled with those rings around their eyes, make them resemble the dead twins from The Shining.

Anyone else notice that Homer looks more like Grandpa Simpson than anything else?  Maybe it’s just the bump on the back of his head, and the fact that his stubble is painted white instead of brown, but he definitely looks more like his dad…

I had watched this video before going to bed which I’m not sure was a good idea. I’m surprised those figures didn’t haunt my dreams. They are definitely nightmare fuel.

Very nice ending skit. Perfectly summarizes the creep factor in these figures.
