Man, I used to really detest late 90s/early 2000s CGI, but I’m starting to find a pleasant minimalist aesthetic to it. Odd since I already liked the even simpler late 80s/early 90s CGI. I mean, in a way, it’s cartoony enough that it didn’t really age badly. No Uncanny Valley to it.

Hmm. Although I do remember that I watched Beast Wars (or Beasties) when I was young, I don’t remember this series at all. Either it wasn’t memorable enough or I just never got into it. Just goes to show how inferior it was if I can remember an earlier show, but not this one.
Beast Wars II and Beast Wars Neo were better sequels to Beast Wars than this from what I’ve heard.
