The thing I remember most about this movie was the ‘spontaneous’ “We Like Boys!” musical number, and I’m guessing that sticks out in my mind for reasons other than what the producers intended.
As an African-American, I’m not sure whether I should be content or insulted that there was no black kid among the trio of wandering rappers.
What does it say about a movie where a teenage witch isn’t the most bizarre nor most compelling thing about it?
Allison mentions a couple times how the popularity spell changed Louise’s wardrobe, but she never mentions the best effect of the spell – that big, curly hair! Do you think hair that awesome happened with some mousse and a blow dryer? It was all magic, baby!

I used to rent this movie a lot when I was a little girl.
