Steven Seagal does not look like a pig! …he looks more like a oversized walrus with a belt bag.

Dat ending tho! Janis must be Emperor Waboos dark apprentice.

Ohhh! Sweet bloodbush cameo! Blood for the bloodbush! Twigs for the Twigthrone! Milk for my Khorne flakes!

OK my friend. My name IS Jamie and I can see how they got that out of Janis. Freeze the title screen and squint. That poofy font makes it so you can’t really see the difference between an M and an N and worse an E and an S.

East West actually put out some ocasionally good PD stuff. The ones that blew my mind were the Rankin and Bass The Hobbit and John Sayles Brother From Another Planet.

I think I can see why they changed the title: look at the title on the left at 0:59. That balloon font kind of looks like it reads “Jamie”–and yes, apparently the DVD people simply misread it. They seemingly didn’t bother to listen to the actual dialogue beyond that point, but then again, can you blame them?

One thing they do get right is that pigs that get free turn feral really quickly, and wild pigs are fucking mean. Hell, farm pigs aren’t very easy to deal with either.

It doesn’t explain why he suddenly grew tusks. And why is the wild pig wearing more clothes than the domestic ones? I would have thought a wild pig would go naked.

God, why do dogs in Dingo movies have to be such pricks (like in this), creepers (as in the Dingo version of Balto), or completely incompetent (like in Dalmatians 3)?! Also, hobo pig reminds me of a creepier version of Opie’s Hobo Friend, except for the charm and heart that Buddy Ebsen at least had, this character has none of that type of development. By the way, great review, Phelous!

Oh..It’s strawberry icecream…At first I though Subzero was eating a stillborn fetus.

When they said you can’t judge a DVD by it’s cover, they were thinking of Dingo Pictures. Even Good Times covers didn’t lie about the art quite that much. But it’s pretty bad when you also have to lie about the title, the story description, & the main characters to sell your movies.

Well millennials have derailed the definition of feminism to be more elevated/protected & less equal/inclusive (& this is coming from an oldschool-liberal woman), they’ve added exclusions to “sexism” & “racism” so that it doesn’t apply them when they wander into hypocrisy, & the definitions of “ironic” & “literally” have been added on to to mean “coincidentally” & “figuratively,” so it’s not much of a surprise that cuck has become a general derogatory term, like how “bastard” used to mean “illegitimate child born from unmarried parents.”

19:17 Who feeds their dog ravioli?

You could always make a Wabuu shirt. Dingo can’t sue because too many of their characters infringe on Disney character designs.

I know this is going to be a strange thing to nitpick, and if I’m wrong feel free to correct me. But I’m sure that cock-a-doodle-do in french sounds differently. In fact the rooster sound closer to “кукареку” which is a Russian version. That… just confuses me
I didn’t find any information to say if there is a Russian version of this film. But there probably isn’t (Thank god! Hearing my language in Dingo’s Pocahontas was embarrassing enough). Although, is there a chance that they were planning to do it?
I mean, the rooster is supposed to be French and otherwise speaks with some small semblance of the correct accent. Could they’ve accidentally left the unused Russian version in the English version. Because if they did, I wouldn’t be surprised.

Either way, I think that Dingo really should re-release all their monstrosities for the world to see and riff apart. But, to avoid unnecessary casualties amongst children, they might need a new slogan.

How about: “Dingo Pictures – Our product will kill your braincells!” Spelled with several grammatic mistakes, of course.

    WHAT THE FUCK!! HAHA, JEEZ!
What in the hell was THAT?!
I cannot even believe how ridiculously DARK that got all of a sudden! What the hell were they thinking when they made this?! I know Dingo’s always been ludicrous and had completely inappropriate things happen in their… umm, ‘movies,’ but seeing a pig (who are SENTIENT in this world) chopped up, with its decapitated corpse on full display? I honestly never conceived that even Dingo would go that far.
Clearly they never have a clue what the hell their movies are going to be about and just write whatever crap they feel like while recycling animation. I can’t believe any of this was planned that far in advance, I think they just write a scene, put the recycled crap to it, record the audio in one take, and move on to whatever they feel like doing next.

At first, I was looking at this thinking I was a bit tired of the Dingo movies, since I thought you’d pretty much shown us all there was to see at first and it wasn’t worth revisiting… but then BAM, the slaughterhouse scene that almost feels like it’s straight out of an Eli Roth movie!
In a way, I want to thank you for sharing this movie with us in this entertaining form. On another level, I want to curse your name for inflicting it upon us, haha X’D

Nice job, Phelous, on calling out people on the internet who liberally throw around terms like “SJW” and “cuck” without knowing what they actually mean. A troll once called me a cuck on YouTube and I thought to myself  “If I wasn’t so sure that this tool has no idea what that word means, I might be insulted.” Whenever I come across a word or term that I’m not familiar with, I look up it’s meaning immediately. I’m just weird like that.

Also, kudos for pointing out that cows are ladies and that only they have udders. There’s no such thing as a male cow; a male cow is a bull, and they don’t have udders. Other cartoons (most notably Nickelodeon’s Barnyard) have similarly tried to get away with genetically inaccurate male cows.

Meh, I consider morons those that throw around ”sjw” and ”cuck” at the drop of a hat as much as those that throw around ”sexist” and ”racist” . Both are mindless drones.

Great video as always, Phelous. I think you nailed the mindset here: it’s as if the execs at Dingo had just seen Charlotte’s Web and/or the Babe movies and decided, “Let’s do something with a pig” even though they had no idea what kind of story they wanted to tell, so they just made one up as they went along.

I’ve been trying to translate that plaque above the sausages in the slaughterhouse scene with the help of google translate (My German is rusty to the point where it’s practically a mound of iron oxide on the floor) and as far as I can tell it means “The contents of a liver sausage are forever unknowable”, a variation of the German phrase “Der Magen einer Sau, die Gedanken einer Frau und der Inhalt einer Worscht bleiben ewig unerforscht.” or “The stomach of a Sow, the thoughts of a Woman and the contents of a Sausage are ever unknowable.”

If someone fluent in German can verify/correct me let me know.

Cannibalism, transgenderism, and genocide in a Dingo Pictures movie? This movie has to be their most mature movie as far as content goes.

Wow. This one got dark with that slaughterhouse scene. I didn’t think Dingo would actually take it that far. But, they did. Methinks someone at Dingo Pictures was on an animal rights kick and maybe was trying to push their vegetarianism or veganism onto their work.

I liked those shots at those who use the terms ‘SJW’ and ‘cuck’ on pretty much everyone they disagree with. They’re insults that I can’t take seriously anymore. Though I wonder why you decided to do that in this video. People been causing shit in your YouTube comments?

Glad to see the voice acting is as good as ever, with all 2 or 3 people they use for all the characters.
