This movie read through a list of cliches but was reluctant to follow through on any of them, but not in a clever way. Just in a way where they didn’t really know what they were doing.
1. “The mayor’s on my ass! You’re fired (but not really)!”
“You can’t not fire me, I quit!”
“Nuh, uh! Nothing’s going to change and you’re going to go back to doing what you were doing before with no consequences!”
“Okay!”
2. “If you’re doing this extremely dangerous thing then I’m coming with you.”
“I’m cool with that, unarmed untrained person I care about. You won’t be a liability at all.”
3. He becomes the thing he hates and finally has a motivation over halfway through the damn movie and even then it’s only two guys.
4. “We’re not so different you and I-” BLAM “-we’re practically brothe-” BLAM “-for what is a hero but a monster made to fight other mon-” BLAM “-was it not Carl Jung who once said-”
And it’s not a cliche, but the fact that the Captain Hair could be taken out by either a trained cyborg cop or by walking through an orchard with low hanging branches was pretty cheap, and Borgies sounds like a Soviet breakfast cereal.
A main villain that can be thwarted by not being careful around a tall coat-rack.
The big bad boss sounded like Lemmy.
I used to love these kinds of movies when I was kid, back then, our 3:4 SDTVs and unsophisticated eyes couldn’t tell just how cheaply made they were. Of course we’d see them on USA or local Saturday afternoon broadcasters with the sex scenes chopped out.
I remember “Captain Hair” being a audience suggestion for superhero names for Colin Mochrie on “Whose Line…”. Wonder if the guy actually saw the movie.
Is is just me, or does Captain Hair remind anyone else of Howard Stern?
When I saw the CD case come out of the box, I got flashbacks of Lion and the King. No one wants to be reminded of that. Poor Phelous still gets nightmares about it

Duuude, dont pull on Captain Hairs tubes, it kinda ruins my mellow bro.
This actually got a 2.2 on IMDB.
I like you very observant style. The details you presented are interesting ans analytic.
This movie was a great choice to critic!
This movie has a higher audience score on Rotten Tomatoes than Fantastic Four (2015)!
A CD case inside a DVD case…I hate it when PC games do that. Ir at least I did when I still had the space to preserve the box art.
He doesn’t like cyborgs? Well then, I’m taking back these tickets for Borgy & Pess.
Anyone else keep expecting a floating box & Pinhead to show up?
Every time the main character says something, I expect to see cocaine fall out of his nose.
He pulled Hair’s hair….That was the most anticlimactic preboss fight ever.

LOL. Just LOL.
The plot reminds me a bit of Blood Dragon. 2010… 2007… If it was a source of inspiration it wouldn’t surprise me.
All I have to say to about that movie is Da End! *Fart Noise*

eh, I’d rather play Cybernator on SNES instead.
So…. is Dime Store Mr Freeze is called Captain Hair because he has no hair? 😀
Cool, I feel like I saved time AND gained some lulz by this. XD Looks like the perfect movie to watch when inebriated.
