Still better than seasons 2-6 of the Supergirl show.
I kind of want to see this now, just because it’s such a time capsule of early 80s fashion and attitude, such a train wreck, and it stars Peter O’Toole from friggin’ Lawrence of Arabia.
I guess they got the legendary Brando for the Reeves Superman, so someone must have thought this would be a repeat of that and give a boost to the late career of these aging stars. Luckily for Peter this movie really died a quick and somewhat painless death. Growing up I remember hearing this existed, then fading into obscurity while the Reeves superman I and II continued to get network and cable play for several years in prime time slots.
