To mark the 10th year since I started doing videos, I decided to do a deep dive on my very first favorite movie. Grab some ‘za and skip the apple juice, we’re taking a journey under the bed to the world of Little Monsters.

Love that opening rap!
At first I figured it was Allison because it sounds like her, then she gives out the phone number and I’m like “Wait was this real?” it’s so perfect on the nose late 80s I’m starting to doubt reality…
Then she says “Holy shit this is so cool!” and my doubts faded before Phelous even shows up to be Kid Cool with his sunglasses and say “ch-ch-check it out”!
You know, a lot of stuff by millenials and Gen Z tries to recapture that 80s nostalgia feel, but this nailed it PERFECTLY.
So good, keep it up!
Well said!
Cheers, random stranger on the internet
Allison was born in 1989? Boy, does that make me feel old (as a child of the 70s)!
Scariest thing about this video had to be that Peanut Butter & Onion sandwich. Truly terrifying.
good review, lupallison. thanks for sharing this movie with us and what it means to you.
on a different note: it really seams surprisingly dark to put in a back story about all the monsters being little children that lost their families and everything they had … the good old times, when parents where less worried with what we watched and if it might affect us. but, hey – you and me at least managed to grow up (sort of) and became functioning adults (sort of). yey for us! 🙂

The most scary thing about Little Monsters? That sandwich (truly horrific!)
I remember being a high schooler when I started watching you. Now I’m in my mid 20’s with a job. Sure, I don’t have as much free time as I did before but I still drop in occasionally. I know OF this movie but I didn’t know a whole lot about it and I’ve never seen it.
