I think the real evil here isn’t the witches, it’s Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen.

also, apparently the scenes with the grave robber makes me think we’ve stumbled upon Mary-Kate & Ashley meets Ed Gein.

There is no greater evil than Mary-Kate & Ashley movies, their evil may equal that of Eli Roth for absolutely no substance.

I agree. in fact, both Regan MacNeil & Damien Thorn are butch compared to these two. you can easily add these two to the on going list of Hollywood’s anti-creative minions.

Will they return for “Fuller House?”  X_x  Still, it’s a dern shame when you see child stars go nutso when they age.  :-/

well, I wouldn’t put all of the blame on child actors for going nuts. even adult actors that we once admired & respected can go completely insane. with every Mary Kate & Ashley, Edward Furlong, & Macauley Culkin, there’s always a Gary Busey, Charlie Sheen, & Mel Gibson just around the corner.

I remember seeing this on TV and I never forgot it. The idea of being trapped in a mirror has always seemed really creepy to me.

For me it was a memorable movie. Not good, but memorable.

The stuff from their childhood is at least forgivable & have plots. It’s their teenhood stuff that drove me up the wall. They all have the exact same plot, they play the same characters with different names, they have pretty much the same goals, & one of them always plays the least convincing tomboy ever.

“They have no sense of self preservation. They could have been killed so many times.”  So it’s the Scrappy Doo Twins Halloween Special?

You two work great together on cheesy kids movies. Are “The Great Land of Small” & “Santa Clause (1985)” bad enough to be reviewed?

I feel bad for the girls. Were they ever allowed to just be kids? Their parents had been cashing in on them since they were babies!

Yeeeeeah I actually saw this on tv when it came out. You know, being a twin growing up in the 80s and early 90s was not easy thanks to these ragamuffins!

Good Lord! The Olsen twin videos made ‘Full House’ look like ‘Citizen Kane!’

I recently delved into their videos because… just like you guys I enjoy bad movies. But even I was not prepared for that level of pain!!!

I was very familiar with their direct to video hits as I worked at Blockbuster during the height of their popularity and had to sort through their library every few days.

I’d always just presumed the videos were bad simply because they featured the Olsen twins. I was horrified to discover “a new definition of pain and suffering.” It was like when Brad Jones discovered the works of Chester Novell Turner. He thought he knew bad until then.

These videos look like improv VHS recordings. In fact I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what they were! All of them! I couldn’t make in more than 20 minutes into a single one!

Remember these videos were big hits!

Cloris Leachman’s Oscar must have been revoked for appearing in this.

I actually thought this movie did something new that I’d never seen before. The changing of the clock to trick the villain. I’m sure it was stolen from something else, but it was the first time I’d ever seen it. And so I thought of this as the smartest movie for the longest time.

Allison’s new doo… Exists. Obviously, it doesn’t detract from anything, it’s just that no one else seems to have noticed it, last time I checked (never). So… FIRST!

That’s still a thing, right? We’re still doing that “first” thing, right? This IS still 2006, right? RIGHT?!

On a much more related note, I’m digging these Allison and Phelan Mary Kate & Ashley movie reviews. Previously repressed childhood memories seem to recall they made a ton of these MK&A movies. All equally painful.

I’m so glad these never got shown on TV in the UK, it saved my innocent mind from their zombie faces. Seriously they seem like they’re just wanting to go to bed.

I saw this movie on TV when I was quite a bit younger and liked it, though even then I thought them using the Olsen twins to portray the aunts as young was kind of dumb and cheap. They couldn’t find another set of young twin girls just to film that scene? I too was caught in that era of the Olsen twins craze. I’ve seen a few of their movies, but I wasn’t a diehard fan. Maybe if I was a girl or had a twin I would have liked them more, but I don’t know.

Of course, at that time I didn’t realize all of the plotholes that frequented the movie. As a young kid I didn’t really care about the parents’ stuff either.

I didn’t know this until I read it on Wikipedia, but the actor who played the gravedigger was a main cast member on the Red Green Show. Wasn’t aware there was a connection between the two, but there you go. Unfortunately he died of a heart attack a few years ago.

It’s funny that their younger unrecognized sibling at the time, Elizabeth Olsen, now has a big acting career!

The reason the “barbershop quartet” has such terrible music is that there are only three of them!

(Admittedly, I didn’t watch the movie itself but the clips in your review show them one tenor short of an aria.)

Oh hey, the grave digger/robber is Wayne Robson from The Red Green Show! Which movie was worse for him, this or the Wrong Turn movies?
