Hey, can I request a review? I’ve been into Voltron lately so I’m curious to know if there’s any surprisingly good or else lol-worthy Voltron bootlegs out there.
So… could these Pokemon cards defeat Exodia the Forbidden One?
You don’t know what Exodia is? I’m guessing you were never a big Yu-Gi-Oh fan.
(pointless explanation: in the Yu-Gi-Oh card game there’s five cards that together make up Exodia. if you ever have all five in your hand at once, you automatically win–as demonstrated in the first episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters anime. Naturally there are deck builds built around trying to summon Exodia as fast as possible, but its harder than it sounds)
I just saw a really weird looking Voltron knockoff while scouring ebay. Right here: http://tinyurl.com/qzhwnoz
That might be an interesting one to cover if you feel like springing for it.
No, I haven’t hardcore collected since the Base set which is why those were mostly what I showed in the MMZ vid.
Doing these videos on the newer bootlegs have made me learn more about the newer stuff though at the very least.
Yeah, I originally only hardcore collecting up until the Team Rocket pack and then I stopped because my interest in Pokemon faded away after the 90’s boom, But just I recently started collecting again with the newest set (which I am sure is the EX set but I might be wrong)
I love it that you’re doing all these Pokémon bootlegs recently, but it also reminds me of your 2014 April Fools’ Day episode… you promised us Bootleg Zones VG episodes on your Pokémon game bootleg cartridges… Or was that promise part of the April Fools’ joke? I’m so confused!
Out of sheer curiosity, what are your 10 favorite Pokemon, Phelan? Or 9 plus Meowth. It would be quite funny if your fans made you some homebrew bootleg cards.
Phelous I saw something today at the Five Below store that reminded me of you. I dunno if you have this chain up in Canada(it’s basically a store that has evertyhing fibe dollars or less)but they have giant Pokemon promo cards, seem to be Wizards-era.
There’s one close to where I live in Virginia. I got a pack of Dragon Ball GT cards there a few years ago. Five and Below has tons of discount clearance stuff (most of them from 2-8 years ago) but I haven’t went there in years.
Speaking of Five and Below, I just got a figure from a Pacific Rim rip-off line called X-Bots. I think these ones are from the same line as the Pacific Rim rip-off that Ashens reviewed once:

Voltron I, unfortunately, don’t have any bootlegs of yet. I have seen some so they might show up in the future but it’d still be a while if they do.
They DEFINITELY could beat that!!! (I don’t know what it is, lol)

Oh wow, I actually have the actual copies of most of the cards in this bootleg pack/lunchbox.
Also; I was wandering, do you still keep up with the Pokemon game/card series Phelous?

Oh, I’ll do that game for real sometime. I just have too many shows and things I want to do, haha.

Kudos for even spotting this as an unofficial release! And nice vid as well. It’s no Big Cock, but I’ll take it anyways.
Hey Phelous, this guy (http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ssn=billet2289&rt=nc) sells tons upon tons of Pokemon bootleg figures.
Some have interesting new colour schemes, some don’t, but this celebi has seriously seen some things: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CELEBI-DIAMOND-PEARL-POKEMON-ACTION-FIGURE-2-/311269556134?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item48791c7fa6.
Unfortunately, all of them are roughly $25, so I’m not sure if it’s even worth it to buy one.
Did you play the games when you were younger? and do you keep up with the series now??
I mentioned in the MMZ ep on the real cards I played it a bit, but only a few times really. I was more into trying to get the full (base) set.

Hah! Oh nice! No, I’ve never seen that chain around not even when I’m in the US.

Excuse me, but what is the source for the stock music that starts at 8:21? Thank you very much.
After all those Pokemon Trading Cards i was wondering… do you have some of those really old Mortal Kombat Kard Game Cards?
(If you heard this question a thousand times before, please accept my apologies)
No, I don’t think I’ve actually been asked about those and unfortunately I don’t have any of them.
