Looks like I’ve got a new show ^_^ Where can I get an mp3 of the chiptunes theme?
OMG…That was MY first computer too XD
Never could get Myst 2 to play on any computer.
“Dive into the manhole.” Wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more.
“ALL ways are MY way!” Nice reference.
Jesus…If real companies used that music, no one would ever call customer service.
Normal Boots style editing. Me gusta.
Awesome intro skit 😀
I never played this game, but I did have Cosmic Osmo (literally twenty years ago), which seems to have been highly similar in terms of tone and content, not to mention technical limitations. I want to say that Cosmic Osmo had more interactive options, but perhaps I’ve just got my nostalgia goggles on.
Cosmic Osmo could also be quite frightening, I remember there was one particular character who, if you bothered him too often after initially speaking to him, would pull out a drill and use it to shatter the “screen”–I always avoided this character and his area. Some of the imagery could be very disturbing. But at the same time, I enjoyed exploring the large open world, even if you couldn’t impact it in any meaningful way. To this day, I love open world games.
Also, I am pretty sure the operator and hold music in Manhole are the same in Osmo.
INDUBITABLY!!!!!!!!!! I was waiting the WHOLE review for it!!! The only thing I remember about the whole game! I had this game on my 386sx 16mhz Magnavox with 1mb of ram single speed cd rom.. what a powerhouse.. see when this game came out on CD rom.. it was novel. When you played NES, Intellivison, ect.. the graphics seemed amazing.. actual voice acting!!!! I was an early 90s PC gamer.
The real gaming was Space Quest series.. and You hit the nail on the head with Sam and Max Hit the Road… I love Telltale today.. I just wish they would stop doing only movie/comic/show licensed games.. I want to see Roger Wilco!!! damn it!
Hmm, some of your uploads are missing, I think. Didn’t you review Bubsy Bobcat & the Felix Christmas Special manmy years ago?
