It is amazing seeing officially licensed knock-offs, but I think it was a deal Ford/GM had for their own Transformers knock-offs with Big Lots or something like that.
They are rather bland and kind of generic there even with the license, but some effort was put into them even though a bit more would of obviously been better. Either way, good review of some mildly lame Transformers there, but next time it could be Space Car Robot Beast Changer Transformable Bot.
maybe it would of been cooler if they made a Transformer based on the Viper Defender from the 90’s NBC TV series Viper. which btw, I would highly recommend to both you and Lupa to watch and review at some point. that is if you both can find a copy since it has yet to be released on dvd and/or bluray. for those of you who don’t know what Viper is, take a look at this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u95IHZ1dnNI
Viper is a TV series that originally came out on NBC in 1994 and ran in syndication from 1996-1999 and stars James McCaffrey (Max Payne, Alone In The Dark, Law & Order) & Dorian Harewood (7th Heaven, Stargate SG-1, Full Metal Jacket, The Batman, & Mortal Kombat Defenders Of The Realm).
The round body actually makes me think of a “Discman” taken literally. & if they painted the whole thing black, they could call it a bootleg Night Rider KITT Morph.
Hey, I’ll give it two things…For a bootleg the paint job isn;t that bad, & it doesn’t have plastic runoff around the edges. Not exactly winning points with the gaping seams though.
Looks like the head, at least, is knocked off from the Roadbots Ford GT figure. Not sure if it’s from the 1:32 version or the 1:12 version; the heads were basically the same. The body’s different from either version, though.

Makes you wonder if the Ford symbol on the product and packaging is a bootleg in itself.
Any plans of doing review for Beast Wars in the future?

Officially licensed by Ford… yeah, sure it was…
Too bad that robot in particular picked a Ford GT form. He’ll probably only get a maximum of about 4 miles before he needs to refuel.

Wow! I actually saw this today at my own Big Lots! $15!!!
(no, I did not buy it)
If this is a real licensed product then I’m the queen of England
