The Evil CJ music is “I Love You…I’ll Kill You” by Enigma. Actually a pretty decent track.
They were kind of a big deal in the 90’s, sort of a proto-electronica-avant-garde-pop-adult contemporary group of musicians.
Fun fact, you can hear samples from Led Zeppelin’s Battle of Evermore, and Black Sabbath’s “The Wizard” in there.
Remember that song with the native American chanting and the video where everything goes backward “Return to Serenity”… Or the one with the Gregorian monks chanting punctuated by a breathy woman’s voice singing in presumably French “Sadeness”?

Those were their bigger hits.
Wasn’t it “Return to Innocence”?
lol, you are correct!
“Return to Serenity” is a song by Testament. (also from the early 90s)
Thanks for catching that.
Cort was fighting in that one scene like he was Daredevil.
Emmy Cancer. If at first you don’t succeed at winning an Emmy with it, try, try again.
For some reason, I thought Cort was Australian. I must have had him confused with another character. It’s been a while since he’s been on the show.
