Some bootleg Breakpoint boosters showed up at a dollar store near me so lets check them out and see how you can tell the difference.

I just noticed that Omastar seems to be living in some sort of post-apocalyptic Florida in it’s artwork.
Do you follow Pokemon these days, Phelous?
Well I still play the main series games.
Me too but I really don’t like the Pokemon anime. I’m begging to get Pokemon Moon sometime during Thanksgiving break (Black Friday) or for Christmas.
I’m choosing Rowlet as my starter because his final evolution (Decidueye) is the best looking of the 3. Besides him and Oshawott (if I had any of the Unova games), I mostly pick the Fire starter because ever since I chose Infernape as my starter in Pokemon Diamond I’ve had kind of a bias leaning towards Fire-types.
And is it just me or does Incineroar (the final evolution of Litten) kind of remind me of Rath (you know the muscular tiger alien) from Ben 10 Alien Force/Ultimate Alien?
I just finished Pokemon Moon 2 days ago and it has become one of my favorite Pokemon games of all time but honestly, it wasn’t as good as Alpha Sapphire in my opinion. Due to the numerous unskippable cutscenes (you can’t even skip the ending!), the main story felt very slow-paced for a Pokemon game even when you set the text speed to Fast.
Hey, at least they got rid of Rotation Battles and Triple Battles, those were too chaotic even for Pokemon and didn’t need to exist. 🙂
Man, the artwork on that Meowth card is actually fantastic, now I also have to go hunt that one down.
I was like most kids who only wanted Pokemon Cards because of the awesome/bizarre artwork and never figured out how to play the card game correctly.
I’m mostly a card collector and I don’t actually know how to play any card games (except for Go Fish and Uno). So, I feel your pain.
Makes me wonder how many of my Pokemon cards I had growing up were actually knockoffs. I never actually played with them. I just collected them. I eventually gave them away to my nieces and nephews. Same with my Yu-Gi-Oh cards (though those ones were all just duplicates I got from a friend of mine). I had no interest in keeping them.
My oldest nephew is really into collecting Pokemon cards now. I should let him know about this kind of stuff.
