Part 1:
NGL, my coloring is so much worse than this, due to never going hard enough on lights & darks & having a poor sense of light sourcing & depth… Of course there’s also the possibility that some of them are cheating by using filters on photos, ending up with cartoony lines & overly realistic lighting, creating a very uncanny valley look. I believe the plaid, smoke, & fire are done with transparent stock photos.
3:55 That’s definitely a color layer with blur tool with no line art. Looks like the artist mistakenly put the line art as the bottom layer.
Zenescope? Isn’t that the company that did all those edgy lingerie stripperific fairy tale comics in the 2010s?
Part 2:
Color me shocked that one or more of these sisters would have a Pregnancy Addiction, which is rooted in selfish attention-seeking narcissism. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if being a dad was a full time job in this family.
13:55 Wow, someone must have missed a deadline. This is somewhere between “rough sketch” & “story board.” Those covers are great though.
