missed opportunity; reviewing this as Halloweenie… because weenie?
The toilet gag would have gotten a laugh out of me if I was 7 years old watching this.
It’s funny that Dragon Lord saw how (supposedly) powerful this concoction made Wick and he never thought to try the super juice himself. Plus, the only super thing that we saw Wick do was fire magic lasers from his eyes. Something we’ve already seen Dragon Lord do in earlier episodes. Also, I loved how in one scene the Turtles are tossing Wick around like a rag doll and in the very next scene, Donatello claims that this new Wick is unbeatable. Next Mutation is that kind of show.
Venus says to Leonardo “You’re friends need you.” So are they all friends, or are they a family? That isn’t something that one can turn on and off like a tap.
Venus saying “I’ll go talk to Leo” then we see he’s only standing about a foot away came that close to an actual funny joke…assuming that was actually intended as a joke and not just this show’s usual poor direction and execution.
