Sigh. Just rewatched the “Lion and the King” review and realized that squirrel who asks Robin a bunch of stupid questions was Stupid Wuschel, and now I almost long for a glimpse into a reality where Phelous had reviewed Countryside Bears first.
It’s kinda funny, part of what makes Dingo so likable is the sense of “continuity” between their films, something you can’t really say about Golden Films or Goodtimes (before Phelous made Old Man a meme).
Also, when are you gonna cover Young Pocahontas? I actually owned that thing as a kid, and sad to say I actually remember liking its songs… but I just know you’ll find so much wrong with it.
One addition: I recall once seeing this other version of Beauty and the Beast, an animated one that used to be distributed by FHE, and in that one there’s a scene where Beauty’s brothers come to Beast’s castle on horseback… and beast appears AS AN EVIL FACE IN A CLOUD and says “you have come unbidden to my palace, and for this you must pay!”
Phelous, do you by any chance already have that version? If not, I might be able to dig up my VHS of it and send it your way (assuming they’ll let VHS tapes across the border right now).
You’re welcome, I’m just happy to know that version has a slim chance of showing up on your channel someday and getting Old Man’d.
It and the Toei Anime Aladdin are ones I wouldn’t mind seeing you cover someday. Toei’s Aladdin (which had two different English dubs, both can be found on Youtube… one on my channel, actually) still has the “two genies” thing but it at least had a throwaway explanation of one being weaker than the other so its understandible the ring djinn loses his relevance in the presence of the lamp one.
Wow they just stapled the lion’s head onto the body. The worst thing about Dingo, is that it’s not just how they recycle everything…but how bad and amateurish the original art is. Anyone that says “Think you can do better?” – YES. Yes I can. I mean I used to do commercial art for a living, and this is not professional work.
Sorry, the artist was probably just trying to pay the bills, but it’s trash and the people that money off this should feel bad.

So much effort for such a bunch of nonsense? I love it
Nonsense is the best thing to put a bunch of effort into.

Yeah, that’s the Ruby Spears one, I do have it but thanks for the offer.

Allison’s single ambiguous gasp at 7:17 may be the funniest thing in the whole production. I laughed so hard.
The 2020 Academy Award for Best Pictures goes to Beauty and the Beast (Dingo Pictures)!!
This has the combined efforts of at least 15 Dingo Pictures movies. But the voice acting is TOO GOOD.
Playing a little game of “Guess that voice actor.”
That end theme was making me think of Star Fox for some reason.
Hey phelous how do you lip sync for this stuff is there an tutorial
Wow!
That was indeed a lot of effort!
I love that despite being a parody you fine folk still managed to put in more effort than they did collectively…
(Always nice to see something akin to the old crossovers, too!)
