So glad the internets exist and Phelous is on them.

I thought I was the only one who cared about this shit, but here we have a Star Trek knock off with one of my favorite childhood toys, MUSCLE or Kinnikuman as they were known in japan (but unbeknownst to us as American elementary school kids).

They came and went pretty fast as toys go, and I loved them. They were this weird and mysterious set of little rubber figurines that were wrestlers, but also aliens, mutants, robots, and other strange things…like a man made out of a soccer ball.

Thanks for bringing us the bootleg strangeness!

Despite being an obvious bootleg, there is a strange hint of logic in tossing M.U.S.C.L.E. men (actually the Kinnikuman manga/anime in Japan) in a package with Star Trek toys, given that several of the characters were aliens, robots and mutants.

    Galoob…There’s a name I haven’t heard in a very long time.

I love how the propulsion units look like laser pens because of the red paint.

Am I the only one who thinks Robocop looks extra-silly & less threatening when he’s drawn with lips?

Trying to figure out how to pronounce Korean vowels with all their rules & variables makes Chinese almost look easy. Almost.

Is that supposed to be Letek, Bractor, or Quark at the end of the card?

Lol, my mind went straight to M. Bison too.

Damn, I wanna know what the pretzel looking guy is. Looking up Kinnikuman characters lead nowhere.

In case anyone wondered what it would look like if Star Fleet officers wore marionberry purple & olive green.

9:50 Okay, who replaced Riker with Josuke from JoJolion? 😂
