Was Sophistic Cats really too much for them to think up?
I seem to remember another Aristocats knockoff, one I actually fell for. ::Looks online for 15 minutes. It’s “Gay Purr-ee.”
These days, people throw around the word racist a lot, but Disney Siamese cats from Aristocats & Lady & the Tramp were right up there with “Bugs Bunny Nips the Nips” & Mickey Rooney in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.”
3:45 A combination of Humongous Entertainment’s choppy point-&-click graphics, background music from Maplestory, & the chatty Peppa Pig narrator.
Those black & grey markers cost big bucks; Gotta prioritize the budget.
Relax Well the Hedgehog. (Original, do not steal).
Dr. Jekyll in labor? Better hyde that baby.
19:51 I like how her car takes up both lanes.
21:06 A lost opportunity for Dingo to shoehorn in a Milo & Otis spoof.
Having a cat eat vegetables is like feeding a baby cellulose.
I wonder what movies would make the most awkward Dingo Pictures mockbusters. How about Rover Dangerfield, We’re Back: A Dinosaur Story, & Rockadoodle? Actually, ANY Don Bluth movie would be funny.
It is? I did not know that. The VHS I watched it only had a rerelease date.
But I can’t be surprised…. Every time Disney claims they’ve made something original, it always ends up being very very heavily inspired by something that already exists. I thought it was funny when The Lion King ripped off Kimba the White Lion, only for the Jungle Emperor Leo movie based on Kimba to turn right around & rip the Lion King back a couple of years after. like a friendly jab between Disney & Osamu Tezuka where no one got sued.
Oooh, I forgot the time everyone was pointing fingers at Atlantis: The Lost Empire for having too much in common with Stargate.
Basically, I just think it’s a hypocritical of Disney to tamper with the Public Domain to save their own while trying to sue anyone else who tries drink from the same pond, meanwhile they basically just re-imagine pre-existing things & then have the nerve to sue smaller companies for re-imagining theirs.
It seems that Atlantis also has just as much in common with Nadia: Secret of Blue Water.
I guess it’s like connecting Avatar with Pocahontas, Ferngully, & Dances with Wolves, or like Toy Story with Jim Henson’s The Christmas Toy & the Raggedy Ann & Andy Movie.
or connecting Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame with Cardcaptor Sakura Movie 2: The Sealed Card, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Reflection, and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Detonation.
If Animal Soccer World truly is the worst of the worst, as I’ve heard, then I think it makes sense that Phelous would use it as the cherry on the shit sundae that is Dingo’s filmography.
::Spends a ridiculous amount of time checking Phelan’s backlog & Dingo Picture’s website. I’ll never get sick of re-re-rewatching these reviews::
The Mousepolice (The Rescuers), Little Dalmatians, More Dalmations, Musicians of Bremen, Puss in Boots, Aladin, Balto, Lord of the Jungle (The Jungle Book), Arischa the Little Witch, Goldie (Bambi), Bennie & his Friends, Land of Toys, Easter Bunnies, Atlantis, Prince for Egypt, Sword of Camelot, & Hercules, plus any Phoenix Games games.
Lucy & Lionel: An alternative title for Nice Cats. The names seem like references to Lucy & Linus from Peanuts. King of the Animals 1 & 2: Another title for Son of the Lion King. Teddy the Little Bear: An alt name for The Country Bears.
I don’t remember what review he mentioned that in, but it sound like one of those things Phoenix Games shoved into all of their “games.”
Oh, I forgot to list Phoenix Games’s not-really-a-games games. The list is too long to repost: http://crappy-games.wikia.com/wiki/Phoenix_Games A good chunk of them are just Dingo cartoons, but there’s tons of original stuff too. I can only pray to Kek that some of them are Nintendo ripoffs.

Damn cats !
♫ No More…Mr. Nice Cats!
No More…Licking yourself clean! ♫
I don’t even care if you used that in the video, or anyone gets the reference.
I was compelled to immediately post that.
Carry on.

Except Gay Purr-ee came out first. 1962 vs Aristocats in 1970.

Great video as always, but I’m beginning to think that Phelous is going to review EVERY Dingo movie before getting to Animal Soccer world.
If Animal Soccer World truly is the worst of the worst, as I’ve heard, then I think it makes sense that Phelous would use it as the cherry on the shit sundae that is Dingo’s filmography.
How many Dingo Films are left that Pehlous hasn’t reviewed?

Thanks for taking the time to list all of these wonderful reviews to come.
Do you know if this list include the “non-animated picture book” Phelan talked in this review (Easter Bunnies maybe) ? I kinda want to see that now…

Regarding the “non-animated picture book”, see at 5:33 for this review.
Mah gawd, what a long list of Phoenix Games. Burning CDs for the PS sure was really cheap back in the day it seems.
Is that one cat reading a book by Dr. Jekyll? Doesn’t that cats know that Dr. Jekyll’s secret formula caused him to try and kill his cat? OH, MY GOD!
Nice Boa-wait, wrong piece of animation.
