Oh, I’ve wanted to see a review on this movie since before The Nostalgia Critic did Nicolas Cage Month.  …Oh, and a, Happy 5th Anniversary, Allison, for having Brad Jones punch you in the face. =P

I’ve also seen videos on YouTube showcasing the highlights of this movie, and “I’M A VAMPIRE!” being shouted over and over again almost sounds like Nic Cage is saying “I’M A PEDOPHILE!”

I also laugh a bit with the “BOO HOO!” scene.

    23:20- Wow, Allison.  Just wow.

I’ve seen a chunk of American Psycho when I used to have HBO, but I think I’ll stick with the psychopath movie with dark humor, thank you very much.

I should see this movie in its entirety sometime when I get a chance.

This is a weird cat video… Too much focus on those two guys in the background talking about some random movie.

(but seriously: god, this cat has a beautiful face!)

RETURN OF THE CAT LOVERS!!!!!! Hooray!!! I hope the next chapter comes soon 🙂

AWESOME!! I love how this opens: a live read would be wonderful (you’d need Film Brain  for his parts). And this title card is great: the faces you two pulled were great: you don’t pull faces nearly enough in my opinion 🙂

This movie looks amazing: isn’t the secritary also the only girl in McBain? She’s following Brad around 🙂

By the way, between American Psycho and this, was the yuppie culture really driving people mad? With so much negativity about this part of history, you start to wonder…

6:43 where do you find this stuff????

Wait does Nic Cage try to have a British accent in this? Film Brain really should have been in this!! (And, in a dream world, Maven of the Eventide 🙂 )

    9:16 Wow…tonal whiplash…I thought…just wow…

    15:23 OH NO!!!!! nononononononononoNO!!!! Just…no!!!!

33:53 Brad Jones is The Cat Wrangler!

35:57 that was GLORIOUS!!! I would see the Roadchip too.

Lloyd is my hero 🙂 He and Brad are adorable 🙂

I don’t think I’ll watch this: Windfall and After Hours though….

While sad you never got to do this back in the day , this was a great review: interesting hearing you two with differing opinions discussing them casually. And you work really well together: that’s why the crossovers with you two are my favorites (especially the ones with Phelous: any more of those soon)

By the way Miss Pregler, what’s with all the Ghost buster stuff lately: is it because of new film or just coincidence?

Also the Passion of the Chirst crossover is one of my favorites, Mr Jones: but I didn’t quite get the reference to November. What was that about?

Can’t wait for the next video, especially another crossover: are either of you going to any cons in the near future?

I love it when Brad stops by; I always learn something weird. I guess I’ve been living under a rock because I didn’t know anything about this movie, even out of context. Now I seriously want to see it.

If you listen closely, you can hear the punch. O.O I do not want to pick a fight with Brad. LOL. Also, I had no idea that there were any serious scenes in this movie. O.O Oh, and 32:40 made me laugh so much. ^.^

I watched this a week ago, and only now am I understanding the description.

I thought it was referring to Brad.

I may need to rethink my life.

I’d love to see  a movie that overloads the lol factor by combining Nicholas Cage, Gary Busey, & Christopher Walken, have Steven Seagal attempt martial arts with his old man dough body, & have William Shatner sing the entire soundtrack. I’d toss in Vincent Price, but he’s unfortunately no longer with us.

Is The Snob wearing color contacts under his glasses?

The first movie that comes to mind when I hear “so bad it’s good” is “Idle Hands” 1999.

Ah, I had this confused with “Embrace of the Vampire”, the 1995 Alissa Milano movie, shortly after her “Who’s the Boss” role.  That’s definitely a so-bad-it’s-good movie, though it’s also borderline softcore porn, so might be difficult to review without a lot of black boxes…
