I was sad about Amanda. She and Ash didn’t really spend enough time together for me to believe that her death would have that much of an impact on him. Maybe she should have joined at the book store?
I kind of think that it would have been more interesting if Ash had managed to save her. It could have moved his character forward. Either he gets on a high because he managed to save someone at the cabin or, because Amanda was almost killed (and by an evil version of himself) he distances himself from her, possibly even try to send her away for her own safety.
I’m not sure if this is going to be an anyone can die series. But if it is, I have to care about the characters enough to fear for their lives or else I just get bored. As of right now, losing Pablo would have hurt.
I’m curious to see what they do with Ruby next week.
