Pat Benatar theme song… and Lisa Simpson calling someone a fucker. I’m sold!
Once the Pat Benatar song started playing in the intro of this review I had to go listen to the song. Also, great review. I’m totally gonna go watch this movie.
This is one of my favorite films of all time. I can watch it until my eye bleed. Even more.
The mall scene could easily have been stupid. But that’s what’s so lovable about his film. It makes scenes which should be silly and stupid come off as believable and dramatic.
A lot of thanks to Jeffery L. Kimball one of the greatest cinematographers of all time. He can make grass growing look cool.
The sibling sexual tension is “creepy.” That’s what makes it so cool. Billie Jean doesn’t really have a love interest. Much like ‘House of Wax’ it shows that two attractive siblings are always more compelling characters than two attractive lovers. I’m not being sarcastic.
Lisa Simpson gets her first period. Classic.
