Congratulations, your Prom Night 2 review has instantaneously become part of my favourite Phelous reviews of all time list. If there was one thing I dislike about it, it’s gotta be the moustache. The goatee just looks better on you, imo. Thank God you got rid of it for the post-credits gag, for a moment there I was slightly worried about this becoming your new standard look 😀
And speaking of standard, I noticed that all of your more recent reviews were filmed with you standing in the middle of your room. This might sound a bit nitpicky, but for some reason standing there makes the entire shot seem pretty dark. (Personally, I like best reviews that take place inside that garden shed of yours at night)
I had never heard about this movie before, but I think I might just go ahead and try to find it somewhere, because it seems kind of interesting.
Mary Lou is a terrible person, who the fuck cares if she gets her revenge? Michael Ironside should have used his Scanner powers to make her head explode.
Great video. Really made my day. I really loved the hair jokes and dance moves at the end. I also appreciate how you point out the things that DID work in the film. I love you Phelous! (Not in a creepy way,… unless you want me to.)
Interesting ideas, very random execution. Apart from the more zany scenes (which need to go), I would’ve liked it more if Mary 2.0 didn’t become Prom Queen. Would’ve at least explained her aimless killing spree.
Anyhow, I can’t wait for the sequel of the reboot (most likely called “The Prom Night” or “Prom Night: Retribution”, because why the hell not?) to come out. It will probably fix ALL the problems!
Loved it! I enjoyed your Gingerdead Man reviews, but it seems to me that movies like Prom Night 2, Pulse and the Halloween remakes offers a lot more for you to work with.
Simply put: I think (remember it’s just an opinion) the more serious the movie takes itself, the better your humor works.

P.S. There is a Cabin Fever prequel this summer!

It took FOREVER, but I finally got the theme from “Prom Night” out of my head after watching Phelous’ review of it! =D Awesome!

Well.
Fuck my donkey…
One of your best reviews in awhile. ^_^ Funny AND insightful! I would totally have been thinking Silent Hill for those scenes too.
