A festival? A bit late for an attempt at worldbuilding for this vague country from a vague time period.
This show has some weird continuity. It’s like the characters have only a subconscious short-term memory and can only kinda remember vague stuff from several episodes ago.
And is it possible that this is a bad fanfiction adaption? Or a porn spoof that suddenly got turned into the real (non-porn) deal? That would at least explain the lack of shits given.
Oh, and the cut from actress to stunt double might work a bit better if the scenes had similar lighting.
