Just yesterday I’ve been thinking: “I wish there would be more Bootleg Zones episodes.” And there you are!
Also design of this toy looks more awesome than some of the original transformer or other giant robot figures. It would fit well into Gurren Lagann with this face on the chest.
A bootleg I’ve actually heard of! I was hoping you’d eventually get to this one, and I was not disappointed. The backpack kinda makes a bit more sense than an extra arm (at the very least, you have somewhere to put it in the combined mode) but the claw arm looks way cooler.
Not sure if it’s a mistake on your part or the picture just confused me but when you said it also ripped off Transformers Astrotrain, the picture compared it to Universe 2.0 Tankor aka Octane. Both G1 Octane and Universe Tankor are a triplechanger of a plane and a sort of military semi-truck while Astrotrain was a triplechanger of a space shuttle and a train.
Yeah I actually directed someone to the last one on Ebay a couple days ago, sorry. Also the only other spot I knew of to possible get one was the Flying Dragon Toys site but it’s down now. I’ll leave the url in case it’s temporary but I’m not sure.
Bootleg zones is a show by phelous that show cases diffrent bootlegs of papular brands from overseas Tha show debuted on march 6th 2013 and is considered a separate show from phelous reviews and sketches.I wish there whould be more Boot legs zones episodes.
Okay, this is actually driving me crazy, I HAVE to know what that “Change change change!” song is from.
The obvious suspect to me was either the sentai Changeman or the tokusatsu Changerion, but nope–its not them. Then I checked several Transformers themes but none matched (although since there’s like a million Transformers songs I couldn’t check them all).
So, just tell me, what is it? Since you’re the one who used the song, you obviously must know what it is!
This toy is what if you crossed Thomas the Tank Engine with the King of Braves: GaoGaiGar (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v626/Overspawn/Super%20Robot%20Chogokin/GaoGaiGar/DSC_0017_zps3ff66912.jpg). Transformable Tomas just needs a hammer that erases anything it crushes from existence, a pair of mecha scissors, a power drill that creates powerful faults, and a finishing move where he uses the forces of creation and destruction to defeat enemies by using his two hands and he’s ready to defeat some Zonders and/or monsters (I haven’t seen GaoGaiGar yet but I know that anime from the Internet).
Also, it might be a rip-off of Might Gaine, another Brave mecha. One of the variants looks like Gradion from Webdiver (the prequel of Diagunder or whatever that Jetix show about Gundam/Transformer knock-off robots fighting each other was called).

Actually, when you make them do the “engines hauling engines” thing, Thomas IS the most important one. Because he is “ZE MIDDLE PIECE” (dadadadah!)
EDIT: Oh, and Ashens once reviewed a version of this with the three trains sold seperately and a sword for them to hold in robot mode.
When you first said “Henry?! Oh My God!” I started choking xD
If only the actual series had Super Thomas. Those damn Diesels wouldn’t make so much trouble if they were looking into the face of death here.
I don’t think Megatron is going to live this one down.
That was amazing

Call me… GALVATHOMAS!
Why do all my childhood heroes end up drunk on the floor eating a cheesburger?
I’m trying to obtain a Titanic Bot because of you. Would you happen to know of a place where I could do so? Ebay has nothing.
These Bootleg Zones videos are really growing on me.

The link is dead.
Right now, the site isn’t working. Still, I’ll keep trying. I plan to get Titanic Bot, one way or another, damnit. Thanks, Phelous!

Sorry I don’t know how to display images properly.
