Let's Play Resident Evil - Part 1 and 2

Had no idea Phelan took his gaming so seriously. I kept expecting him to start yelling at Allison for asking for snacks and making him die. This is funny.

I love how Phelous has pretty much memorized every line from this game, and can recite them on demand. That's dedication right there.
And Lupa seems like she's in better spirits than at the end of Tender Loving Care, which is good. Unless this was filmed before that particular experience.

I'm glad that you're doing an LP of this, since I've played through the gamecube remake version of the game and wanted to see the differences. Also because it's probably one of the most entertaining games to LP due to the voice acting and silliness of it all. I have a question: When you do an LP like this, do you shoot it over a single day, or spread it out over a few days? Great work as always, I'm looking forward to the next episode!

This game is on every "Top 20 Worst Voice Acting in Games" list. 

I vaguely remember something about those ink ribbons being surprisingly important to winning the game.

Loving the lets play so far!  Dude I got the first three from the playstation network when I found out about RE6 coming out soon and I wanted to play the older ones again. But I have zero clue of what to do in RE3, I know I'm probably super idiotic but I'd love to see you do a let's play on it and beat it so I can at least see Nemesis. Thanks

great video, very entertaining. although a few questions. why jill? just bcause of barry's funny dialog? and why arrange mode . honestly I expected phelous to be better at this game. figured you'd have it memorized. maybe thats why your playing the arrange game? I dont think I ever finished arrange mode myself despite having the DS version   one more thing if phelous happens to read this. what, if anything do you think about the evolution tournament? mortal kombat 9 had one of the biggest pots for the winner. netherealm really supports the community and they even showed a preview of DC: injustice

The fact that you quote the lines so much is already pretty damn funny. 

First, the title music. hah!! Second, I can't believe....another let's play. That's just delicious. When I first played this game many years ago, I found the FMVs terrifying. But now, it just looks so hilariously out of place. Is there any reason why this was the first and only time FMVs were used in the series? Were they planning to make the games movie-esque at first?

Always loved that first scene where Jill comes across that zombie. Something about how it looks at you just gave me the creeps back when I was 14 and this was new.
I prefer the GCN version overall but that scene in that version just isn't quite as creepy. I think it is to do with the zombie's eyes in the PS1 version.

I won't comment in every video section, so I'll do it all here.  After watching Parts 1 and 2, I decided to replay Resident Evil 1 after about a two year absence from the title.  One of the funniest moments happened to us both, which was bizarre.  I ended up completing the game after you uploaded Parts 3 and 4 (I believe), so I watching the rest as they were available.  Once you were in the hallway (where the crests are for the door) and that Hunter was being annoying (and taking 5 shots to kill), the SAME thing happened to me there as well!  You commented about the number of shots, and so did I.  lol   I did learn a lot from your commentary, and if I ever end up with a Kinder Egg...I will know how to make an Airplane (if I get one of those too).  ;)  Easily, one of the best Let's Play that I have ever watched.  Do you plan on doing any more?  Resident Evil 2?  Maybe the PS3/Xbox360 version of Ghostbusters?  Allison would probably enjoy watching that unfold (and acting like Slimer some more, lol).

 I like the fact that even though she was doing a very silly and obviously fake imitation of Wesker,Allison was actually doing an excellent impression of Alfred Ashford.Even though she probably doesn't know the character.
