Oh my god, lol! I had the keychain back in the day. I was completely obsessed with Pokemon and couldn’t find merchandise to dump my allowance on anywhere except our local comic shop, but they were constantly out of stock, save for those reflective, giant stickers. So when my family visited Chinatown around L.A. somewhere, ohhhhh, the bootlegs… I knew they were sucky, but they were AVAILABLE.
If it makes you feel any better, the keychains didn’t come in any packaging except one of those bootleg-esque plastic packaging bags, so there wouldn’t probably have been much to comment on when it comes to packaging anyway.
Great vid. Took me back. Glad I’m an adult now and can (within reason) buy as much as this shit as I want. 😀 …Except I don’t want to anymore because I’m not out-of-my-mind obsessed. Having fun with Sun at the moment, though.

Ugh, that messed-up Charizard kinda reminds me of H.R. Puffinstuff. & Demon Pikachu makes me think of Odo from Deep Space 9.
Actually, that was a Dragonite, not a Charizard. An unreasonable facsimile thereof, anyway.

My brother and I had those pencils. Â I can confirm they work as replacements for legit pencils.
