Pokemon Bootlegs are the best! I had some friends go to a dollar store and they bought a bunch of bootleg packs…and I had to inform them that they were bootlegs and they looked like normal playing cards with pokemon printed on them. I hope you do more pokemon bootlegs 😀

Since both series of bootlegs are rather big, which is actually the bigger black hole, Galaxy Warrior or Pokemon?
It is nice to see effort put into the tin, but its just sad when the bootleggers just stop trying on the cards and just flat out copy them and loosely translate.
Oh I’d still say Galaxy Warriors. That mold just never stops getting modified. Pokemon’s got a lot but TMNT and all it’s versions still got way more over it too. Especially with how much the original TV series toys got knocked off back in the day.
That’s pretty sweet for a bootleg. How much were the Chinatown ones going for? Maybe I can find one in Seattle or Portland. That lunchbox is awesome.
In Japan, Vullaby is Baruchyai, spelled Valchai romanized, so even in Japan that Vulchi is dead wrong. That’s why it’s almost my new favorite. If only it’s art had been based off a leaked prototype design.
Ah Mandibuzz…I can’t IMAGINE why Pokemon of America thought the name Vulgina was inappropriate. Or rather that they even allowed Borujiina to use that romanization.
They were pretty cheap in China town, it depended on the store and the size of the tin but you could get them for 5 buck and under.

Would it be a lot of trouble to add labels when comparing a bootleg and original? It’s a bit tough at times to tell which is which because I’m not familiar with most of the stuff you do on Bootleg Zones.

I remember a few years back my mother came to Jade Garden and they had these up for sale so she bought these for my birthday. I actually thought they were real for like, 2 years??? There was an oddish that i swear has like comic sans font on it, i actually think i still have that one. :0
