In my opinion, it was muuuuuch scarier as a small grainy image with defaced eyes hidden inside a Chinese toy.

A good alternative picture for the Evil Stick would have been the Lion of King Frederick I of Sweden, which opposite of the knife lady, is actually real but looks super fake.
Compared to some other pictures from that site, the one they choose was pretty tame.
