It’s easily possible if every episode has a new writer who knew little to nothing about the trest of the show.
Either that, or monkeys on typewriters.
The one about the bee women was the only episode I actually saw. It was not a good entry point into the series, to say the least.
I remember this show, it was mortal kombat so I watched it but i CLEARLY remember this show confusing me. It still does lol.

Looks like this episode was only good near the end. Shame since Scorpion and Sub-Zero are such interesting characters and fan favorites. Not even Raiden was good here and he’s usually the best part of the episode. So, still not sure if this was the best episode of Conquest, though I did agree with what you said at the end. This episode had so much potential, but I guess that’s Conquest for you! 😀
Blows my mind they never did anything with Smoke.
Hell, it blows my mind every time they have a cliffhanger ending they don’t follow up on. Is it usual practise to write episodes on a week by week basis? You’d think someone would have a continuity list somewhere, a basic outline of where the series is going and what they want to happen. A frame upon which you could build stories.
Or you could just write a story and maybe pick up some ideas if you can be bothered, I dunno, that works too I guess.
Probably they expected to follow-up some of these threads in season 2… but they never got that.
Didn’t Sub-Zero’s freeze attacks hurt himself in the previous episode he was featured? Or is this just a case of them not remembering continuity?
