Its true that when you put on your nostalgia goggles, the 87 series looks like a masterpiece compared to the newer versions but really it was a very flawed yet very entertaining show like the early transformers and gi joe cartoons. its wierd when you look back on those series and its seems they change so much from what you remember but really its you that changed. Some how this comment got a little deep hmm im going to go watch batman the animated series and eat some campbells chicken soup… I dont wanna grow up.

I’ts funny when your a kid the coolness factor of these cartoons outweighs the sometimes humongous stupidity of some of the characters at times…+1 for HALLOWEENIE cameo bring him back please!! maybe you could have him crossover to the Bootleg Zone into a dimension where it is always halloween…
The thought of having Krang for a brain is a very disturbing moment. Or any of the moments on this list for that matter. If I had seen this show as an adult 26 years ago. I wonder if I would like it as much as I do today.

I was just watching Food Network’s realty baking show “Cupcake Wars” on Hulu.com and saw none other than Eli Roth is a judge on the newest uploaded episode. Of course I immediately thought of you. If you want to watch this guy say such entertaining lines as “A lot of people might not know that I’m a cupcake Nazi” and “I am all for a simple cupcake, but it better be the greatest cupcake I ever ate”, check out the following link:
I always got a tad annoyed whenever these 2 characters became too involved with the Turtles’ adventures. Irma always seem to be like a Bizarro Thelma that instead of being smart and intuitive like Thelma (especially with the glasses) she was dumber than a bag of hammers. Same with Vernon as a Bizarro Shaggy. Although both Shaggy and Vernon are cowards, Vernon was more like a comedy relief snob, while Shaggy was a comedy relief stoner (allegedly)/food addict. That, and that they were just more damsels in distress the Turtles needed to save. April wasn’t enough?
